PZ30 series circuit box

PZ30 Series Terminal Distribution Box

PZ30 series distribution box adopts a plastic panel front cover with a cold-rolled steel sheet enclosure body, combining aesthetic appearance with practical functionality. The plastic panel provides an insulated, corrosion-resistant, and easily cleanable surface that blends well with indoor decorative environments, while the steel box body ensures mechanical strength and secure mounting of internal components. The panel design facilitates quick disassembly and reassembly for wiring access during installation and maintenance without requiring complete removal of the enclosure.

An integrated neutral (N) terminal bar and protective earth (PE) terminal bar are pre-installed inside the enclosure to simplify household wiring installation — providing dedicated connection points for phase, neutral, and earth conductors in compliance with low voltage wiring regulations. Additional outgoing circuit positions and DIN rail mounting are provided for miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), residual current circuit breakers (RCBOs), and other modular DIN-rail mounted devices.

Key Features

  • Plastic Panel Design with Steel Enclosure: The combination of a flame-retardant plastic front panel and cold-rolled steel box body provides electrical insulation at the operator interface while maintaining robust mechanical protection for internal components — the clean white or off-white panel finish blends discreetly with residential indoor wall surfaces
  • Pre-Installed Neutral and Earth Terminal Bars: Dedicated N and PE terminal bars with multiple connection points are pre-installed at the factory, eliminating the need for on-site assembly of distribution busbars and ensuring proper separation of neutral and protective earth conductors in compliance with TN-S or TN-C-S earthing system wiring rules
  • Standard DIN Rail Mounting: All outgoing devices mount on standard EN 60715 DIN rails, enabling rapid installation of a wide range of standardized modular devices including MCBs (Types B/C/D), RCBOs, RCCBs, DIN-rail contactors, surge protective devices (SPDs), and timers — all available from multiple manufacturers with identical mounting dimensions
  • Flexible Circuit Configuration: Available in 6 to 24 module configurations, accommodating from 2 to 12+ single-pole MCB circuits (each single-pole MCB occupies 1 module) plus the incoming main switch — suitable for small apartments (6–10 modules) to large residences (18–24 modules)
  • Easy Installation and Wiring: The removable panel provides unobstructed access to all DIN-rail mounted devices and terminal bars — knock-out cable entries at top and bottom of the enclosure accommodate incoming and outgoing cables with standard conduit or cable gland fittings, simplifying installation for electrical contractors
  • Flush or Surface Mounting: Standard design supports flush mounting (recessed into wall cavity for a clean, flush finish) or surface mounting with optional extension frame for retrofit applications where wall chasing is not practical
  • IP30/40 Indoor Protection: Suitable for indoor installation in residential electrical closets, corridors, utility rooms, and commercial office areas — protection against entry of solid objects greater than 2.5mm (IP30) or 1.0mm (IP40) and against splashing water (IP40 with cover closed)

Applications

  • Residential apartments and houses — final distribution board
  • Commercial retail outlets and small offices — lighting and power distribution
  • Educational and institutional buildings — room-level distribution
  • Lighting control — individual circuit distribution for lighting circuits
  • Small commercial kitchen and utility area power distribution
  • Renovation and retrofit projects — replacement of outdated fuse boards
  • Sub-distribution board — remote area power distribution in larger facilities
