XGN2-12(Z) Fixed Type AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear

 XGN2-12(Z) box-type fixed AC metal-enclosed switchgear is a fixed-mounting medium voltage switchgear designed for three-phase AC single bus, double bus, and single bus with bypass systems, with rated voltage of 3.6–12kV, rated frequency of 50Hz, and rated current of 630A–3150A. It is used for receiving and distributing electrical energy in power systems.

The switchgear adopts a fixed-mounting configuration with all main components — including the vacuum circuit breaker, disconnecting switch, current transformers, voltage transformers, and protective relays — permanently installed within a metal-enclosed earthed steel frame. Unlike withdrawable alternatives, the fixed design offers a simpler, more robust construction with fewer mechanical interlocking components, resulting in higher long-term reliability and lower maintenance requirements. It can meet the use requirements of various types of power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises.

The cabinet body is constructed from high-strength steel plates with electrostatic spray-powder coating, providing excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical protection. The panel door is equipped with mechanical interlocks linked to the disconnector and circuit breaker, ensuring safe operating sequences in compliance with IEC 62271-200.
